Students must wear the official DPHDS uniform at all times except for "theme" or "dress down" days.  For safety reasons, shoes must be closed, back and front. Boys and men are required by DPHDS to wear a kippah (yarmulke) throughout the school day. Girls are also welcome to wear kippot. During cold weather, official school jackets, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and sweaters are the only acceptable outerwear that may be worn inside the school building during the school day. Shabbat uniforms (white shirts and blue skirts, shorts, or pants) are required for all elementary school students on Fridays, at school-sponsored trips, and at off-campus activities in which the student is a representative of our school.
