David Posnack Hebrew Day School (DPHDS) high school students who enjoy the performing arts have several venues for expressing themselves musically, dramatically, and artistically.

Choir
This award-winning program offers students an opportunity to showcase their musical abilities in various concerts and performances. The choir performs a full complement of Broadway tunes, as well as jazz standards, contemporary melodies, and Hebrew selections.

Annual Play
High school students who love to perform have several opportunities to express themselves through stagework, song, dance, and acting. DPHDS’s Broadway-style production is a major annual event, one that lets students explore the world of theater through performance, set design, sound and lighting, and marketing and ticket selling.

DPHDS also features The Posnack Players, our high school band, our own home-grown jazz ensemble, Tri-M, Music Honor Society,  Thespians and our local Cappies chapter.
