Students at the DPHDS middle school have the opportunity to participate in a variety
of activities related to the arts and are encouraged to do so
through their elective classes. The middle school offers classes in
vocal music, instrumental ensemble, and drama production. Students
who participate in the music program have the opportunity to perform
in many concerts, such as holiday celebrations at synagogues and
public ceremonies for Israel’s Memorial Day and Israel’s
Independence Day. Music program participants also have the
opportunity to participate in the high school’s annual musical
production. Our drama students also have the opportunity to perform
in the high school production, and this year, they will have the
opportunity to perform in their own middle school production. This
year also marks the introduction of our first middle school
newspaper.
