    • We are excited to announce that the latest Dyknow version, Dyknow 5.2, which was released last week, IS compatible  with the Apple Mac and eligible for Technical  Support from the company.   In light of this new information, students WILL be able to utilize their Mac laptop-pcs only for the upcoming school year  (2009-2010) with the understanding that for the following year(2010-2011), ALL students MUST use the Tablet-PC.  The following requirements/modifications must be made in order for the Mac to work in the school environment:

      1. The laptop must be running Windows XP Professional using Boot Camp or some other DUAL BOOT software. (This must be installed prior to bringing to the school for configuration)

      2. It must be configured, by the school, for network, Dyknow, Microsoft Office  as established in the survey and “What Next”

Parents should also remember that any laptops used other than the Toshiba Tablet are the families responsibility for repairs.  Students not utilizing the tablet will have to utilize the mouse and text for submitting handwritten responses.
